The next time my wife criticizes my methane emissions, I'm going to tell her I'm trying to save Africa.

well, I can't understand why the Sahara is there to begin with, as it has been for thousands of years, because global warming is a recent issue. certainly can't have anything to do with "man-caused" weather pattern fluctuations. I wonder if it is a result of the earth just being the earth, and those patterns changing over millennia as the landscape of the earth changes. nah, couldn't be that, could it?

and the BBC reported this morning that a congressman is submitting a bill to make it a crime to DENY global warming/climate change (I don't recall which phrase was used) is occurring. Wow, thought crimes. How Orwellian...
