Noel, it is about a rising street gang (The Warriors) who are framed for murdering a leader after a large meeting of other local gangs. They must travel back to Coney Island in one night while avoiding attacks by rival gangs. It is an adaptation of a book that was inspired by The Odyssey.

decent movie back in the day, now you watch and think how hokey it is...although it does highlight the seedier side of NYC pre-Rudy Guliani cleanup...

If I could have gone and seen it first run then it's modern, to include "Mary Poppins" from about 1964!

Great movie with Tom Hardy about 2 brothers that reconcile while fighting each other in a MMA event. Yes it is better than it sounds. Nick Nolty is awesome it it as well.
