The only thing I can say, my husband owns an auto repair facility, so I am dumb when it comes to how to do anything car related. I do know how to pump my own gas. I know, I am pathetic.

I've also changed more brakes than I care to think about. A lot of it was driven by $$, when I was younger I just didn't have any. I was lucky in that I had an uncle who was gearhead and showed me how to do a lot of my own work. Now I do it because it's really not that hard and I have all the tools to do it.

When I had my old VW bug, I swapped out the engine and transmission, but those cars were very easy to work. You could just about disassemble the whole car with a 7 and 10mm wrench.

sorry for not including the standard mazda/deeq/ag/smells/huh option...but since most of those rarely are in here these days, the newbiews don't get it anyway

I usually let the part store change my blades. Especially on my truck cause I can't reach them without a ladder...and one time I put one on upside down!

I don't have a clue how to even use the lift stations, nor do I want to. I don't mind working outside in my yard and such, but garage dirty is an entire different kind of dirty, and stinky.

Ditto. I've been shown how to do all of these tasks much like I've shown my husband how to do laundry. For the sake of the cars and the clothes, we each stick to the task that we do best.

Does this mean if you accidentally turn on your wipers on a sunny day it starts raining?

Can do all of those things, have done them all but now days I leave the oil changes off as the car burns oil so fast it does not have time to get dirty. ^_^
