Hey, Pup! The pool is open and good for hydrotherapy for those aches and pains. Just don't cannonball in, ok?

Made in Illinois, apparently been around at least three years, but somehow exploded this year. Rated a 95/100 by the Beer Advocate rating system. You can't even taste alcohol in it, it's dangerous!

Happy, if you don't want a sweet, syrupy root beer, this isn't for you. If you don't drink root beer in general, probably don't bother. In general, if you're looking to drink beer, don't drink this.

I don't think I could drink more than one in a sitting, it's just like drinking pop/soda/bubbly water/whatever your goofy region calls it, just has a little something going on in the background too.

I just read that Winn Dixie is giving 100% of their 4th of July profits to the Wounded Warrior program. So please go back to Winn Dixie on Saturday, and buy anything and everything you can! We don't have a Winn Dixie in WI so please buy enough to cover my share too.

just received a shipment of summer sausages, they'll be finished on the grill in about 10 minutes, just in time for the early lunch crowd...we have brats, pineapple-bacon (my favorite), green onion, Italian, boudin (extra spicy and regular), venison, blood (another favorite), country, and for those who can't handle this, just some regular old Oscar-Mayer dogs...

Is that Cajun blood sausage, Happy? Kiska is one of my all time favorites but I've never tried the Cajun spin on it. (adds that to list of things to try next time I'm in NOLA)

have an assortment of breakfast goodies today:

pancakes, waffles, bacon, eggs, biscuits, scrapple (no idea what this is, one of the Yankees brought it in), hash browns (not that cheesy kind, blech), sausage patties and links, sliced ham, fried spam (thanks to Hawaii), fresh fruit, and even some varieties of yogurt and granola (for our northwest tree hugging friends).

every type of juice imaginable, and some champagne to mix with it...

please enjoy
