What is the one car you had that you wish you still had, either as a daily driver, second car, investment, etc.?

I had a 1987 Honda CRX Si and I loved it. Granted I would not want to get in an accident in it, especially with all of the trucks and SUVs on the road today, but that was great car. It handled great, had good acceleration, got 30/40 MPG, and could make a U-turn in a bowling lane. I was bummed when I had to sell it in order to buy a pickup.

I loved those CRX Si's, great fun cars.

But, I got the car of my 12 yo mind's dreams, lol.

I had a 72 Cougar, wish I would have kept it...wife had a 77 firebird (similar to Rockford's)...would have rather kept that...

I know where the cougar is, I often think about going and asking the guy to sell it back, but it would need so much work to get it road worthy, and if i'm going to spend that much money on a car, there are far better ones to seek out.

My first car was a 73 Plymouth Duster. Loved that car - wish I still had it.

My first car was a '70 Plymouth Duster. Bright orange. When I got it, it had well over 100K miles and I ran that thing into the ground. Finally sold it to my boyfriend (now my husband). It was blowing oil like crazy. He eventually sold it when he went to boot camp. We both wish we still had that car! What a head turner roaring up and down the drag.

Do you remember the engine size? Mine was 318 - not the biggest of engines, but it was still a little more car than a 16 year old kid should be driving! Mine was a gold color.

My first car, from age 16 through college, was a 1964 Chevy Impala SS. White with a black vinyl top. When you rolled the windows down, there was no center post. All open on the side. It only had the little 283, but it was still a blast to drive. The Chicago winters turned it into a rust bucket, though, and we had to get rid of it in '78.

Big back seat, too.

A friend had one of them, not an SS but it had a 327 in it.

Mine just had a slant 6 but so powerful. That car was a beast especially for being as heavy as it was.

The first vehicle I ever bought was a 1980 Ford Bronco. I did some body work on it and painted it candy apple red. It had aggressive tires and a windshield visor. It looked so cool, even though it just had the 300 straight six in it. I so wish I still had it! I took that thing everywhere in the mud and snow.

I still mourn selling the '69 Chrysler 300 convertible we kept from 1976 to 2006. It went from being a used car to a "collectible" during the time. Was a rare body style to begin with and this one had every option that could be ordered including the more high-performance variation of the 440 V8. Sold it to pay for kids' college which was a worthy cause but I miss it.

I had a sweet little Mazda RX 7 turbo. Five on the floor. My first moon roof. Oh how I loved that little car. Should never have let my son drive it....

My favorite was my 66 ford f 100. 351 cleveland, suicide shifter 3 speed on the column with OD. (although I later added a four speed tran on the floor). I put a lift kit on it to look like a 4x4 with a 78 bronco rally wheels. It had real air horns that was a blast. Pun intended. Get up on a cars rear end and then blow the horn.

I kept the truck through college with the intent to rebuild when older. But alas, rust ate her up on my dads farm while waiting for me.

Oh yeah! My pappaw had a brand new '66 Ford pickup like that one, only his was beige and automatic.

'62 Corvette, British racing green, with a white rag top...

Not a muscle car like most of the rest, but my little 73 VW Beetle. Had it painted a bright teal blue and got some mags for it. Definitely turned heads. Terrible car for the Ohio winters, but now that I'm in SC it would be a blast to drive around. And it was so easy to work on. You could practically disassemble the car with a hand full of wrenchs and screwdrivers.

When she first got her driver lisence, my niece started talking about getting an older model VW Beetle. She wants to paint it red with black dots, and then have a plate made that said "Lady Bug." She just graduated college in May, she still talks about it every now and then. Hope she decides to get it some day.

I had a 76 Plymouth Duster with manual on the column - that thing could get going from a stop light like nobody's business. It wasn't a true muscle car, but was the closest I could come at the time in my financial circumstances.

My Duster could run pretty well too. Ran with a newer model Corvette once, and my Duster actually kept pace with it!......and then the light turned green.

And after my '70 started blowing oil I got a 1993 Plymouth Duster. My parents gave my $1000 to either put towards a different car or get my '70 Duster engine rebuilt. Should have rebuilt the old one. Young and foolish.

Just 2 years after I traded in my race track R-type Plymouth Neon I found out from a employee that worked at the Belvidere factory near here that only 11 had been made and the reason no information was available on the car when I traded it in was that it was a manufacturing mistake and the car was not intended for the public.

It was a such a fun sleeper car I would hunt 944's and Mustang GTs in my 2 door Neon

If any one remembers the Neon R-type racing events you may recall all the cars where 4 doors. Thus the mistake
