They have quite a few good restaurants there, including several that offer fish boils. Peninsula State Park has a nice beach with rentals. We rented kayaks and had a great time out on the water. Egg Harbor has a smaller beach, but nice. If you are on the other side of the peninsula, White Fish Dunes State Park has a nice beach for long walks. Scenery is beautiful all over Door County. Cherries are abundant and several great wineries are up there.

I have to go to Chicago next month for a meeting...may go up a day early and drive up to Milwaukee...never been, figured why not go check it out...anyone have Laverne and Shirley's address? We stayed in Sister Bay, took in the wine trolley tour (great time), the Fish Boil at the Old Post Office in Ephraim, and did a two our sail on a tall ship. Which is real sailing, and not just a sailboat modified for tourists. Also did the ferry over to Washington Island. Great food, great wine and great scenery. Thanks again for all your suggestions. So great to have the site back. I have a compliance exam going on and missed being logged on just to check something quick. We appreciate you BOL!!!
