Where is the list of key HMDA fields?

*Key data fields include: Loan Type; Loan Purpose; Property Type; Owner Occupancy; Loan Amount; Action Taken; Census Tract; Ethnicity, Race and Sex (for applicant and co-applicant); Income; Type of Purchaser; Rate Spread; Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act (“HOEPA”) Status; Lien Status, State, MSA, and County.

This is found on page V-9.21 of the FDIC Compliance Exam for HMDA (dated January 2014).

Of course if you are not FDIC look in your regulator's HMDA exam procedures.

This seems like...well....just about every field...Wouldn't it have been easier for them (the FDIC i guess in this case) to label the 'non-key fields'?

Thanks, everyone! The examiners told me it's in the GIR but I didn't find it there. I'll look in their exam manual. Yes, let's just call everything critical!!

And about to grow a whole lot more. Does anyone know when the HMDA final rule is going to be released? All I see is sometime this month.

I just emailed them today and asked that very question. It was on the schedule for July.

I saw it was supposed to be in July, but I checked the Spring Rule Making Agenda and it was pushed back to August. I know I won't be able to dissect it with all the TRID stuff going on, but I would like to see if they dropped any of the bizarre fields that they were proposing.
