It will be interesting to see if James uses the veto to save himself or Meg. I thought he was one of the smarter players until he offered to put himself on the block in Meg's place. I also think he is hilarious and would be a lot of fun inside the house.

James used the POV to take himself down. Julia went up as a "pawn".

How stupid are these people???????

I cannot stand the sense of entitlement the twins seem to have.

What does one call the style of attire Vanessa chooses? If I were on the jury and it got down to Vanessa and anyone else, I would have to vote for Vanessa, just because she is the best manipulator I have ever seen play this game, and I have watched every episode of every season. Not that she is the contestant I like the best -- far from it -- but, man, she just keeps playing so hard, buttering up everyone (like her praising Julia's speech about not using the veto last night) and slinking around having secret alliances with everyone. Of course, she should have arranged for Julia to be voted out when Julia was put up as a pawn and Vanessa may never make it to the final two because of that perhaps fatal mistake.

In a post on FB recently, I did a poll asking people "Do you talk to yourself? Do you talk to objects, such as the TV or computer?" I swear, I never ever talk to myself (although I used to make parrot noises) and I never talk to objects EXCEPT the TV, when Big Brother is on and the houseguests are doing stupid stuff and then I cannot help myself.

I think Dr Will and Dan were better manipulators (Will TOLD people to put him up and get rid of him.....) but Vanessa is working it, for sure. She is just too emotional for my taste.

While not in the same way, I think last years winner, Derrick, was a good manipulator too. He played a great, great game. And after the last few seasons before that, I was happy the finally see someone win that truly deserved it.

This season may or may not be the same way. As of right now, Vanessa definitely deserves to win the game. But she has also created a VERY bitter jury. But then again, there really isn't anyone who even has half the argument on why they should win the game over Vanessa. If she makes it to F3 and doesn't win the last comp, she will be in jury. I don't think anyone is dumb enough to take her to F2! Win comps, that's all she needs to do.

Derrick had a GREAT social game. He was very likable. Vanessa just comes across as extremely mentally unstable (in my opinion). When James went up to her to try to make peace and told her that she was playing the game too hard and she completely lost it on him, I felt bad for him. But you can tell the house is kind of used to it. Between the going off on people (Austin, mostly) and the tears (bipolar, much?) ------ eesh. Hide the knives.

Crocodile tears. I think it's all part of the manipulation.

I liked Derrick a lot and still like him after the game. Glad to see he and Cody have stayed close. I loved Dr. Will. I liked Dan until the second time he was in the house, then not so much.

Mentally unstable? She may totally be, but her antics have gotten her far.

I am afraid to look at the spoiler. I want to be able to talk to my TV again Sunday night.

Let's hope some big moves are made on Sunday, MaryBeth, instead of the slow death of the season.

We had thought about creating a drinking game where every time someone says the phrase "Blood on my hands" you chug a beer. Unfortunately, we don't have that much beer, and the show is on a work night.

Hope so, too, MonKEE. Watching some of those people is more annoying than entertaining.

Made me laugh. But it is so true. Totally overused and an appalling image for them to conjure up.

I'm really going to miss James. His antics cracked me up. I LOVED him scaring people and I was laughing hysterically at him dumping out the cereal and making a giant mess during the veto comp. Aside from Johnny Mac, no one is really that funny. Sigh...

Johnny Mac and Steve have really missed some opportunities to make moves, let's hope they find the courage to do it this week.
