We have a loan which is exempt from RESPA and the customer has requested we provide them with a GFE. Since the customer is requesting the document from us, do we have to provide them a copy when its not applicable? If we do provide a copy should we keep a copy for our file?

I would advise providing the borrower a "closing worksheet" in place of a GFE.
