Had a question this morning that I have done some research on but can’t find a solid answer to.

We have a current loan we are working on were the amount of the loan increased and we locked the rate on the same day. We need to do a revised GFE for the increase in loan amount (our origination charge is increasing since the loan amount increased). Do we need to do 2 separate revised GFE’s (1 for the loan amount increase and 1 for the rate lock) or are we able to combine these 2 GFE’s together and just reissue one?

We know when you lock a rate you have to reissue the GFE but didn’t know if we could combine that with a changed circumstance. Don’t want to have to provide 2 new GFE’s to the customer but if we have to I guess we will : )

Yes you can issue one revised GFE for multiple changed circumstances.
Just be sure to document each CC.
