We recently acquired a bank in CA and we just received the boxes of physical records to retain. The Adverse Action Notices are tagged with a "5-year retention" period; and the Rate sheets (Lending and Deposit) are tagged as "Perm".

Being new to CA state law, I am wondering if someone can chime in on if CA has more stringent retention periods then federal law?

Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
