For purposes of branch postings, would a Lending/Operations Center be considered a branch office? The Operations part of the office is back room, IT, Accounting, Compliance. Mortgage and Consumer lending staff (including loan offices) are moving into the Operations Center so the office will be combined Lending/Operations.

Particularly would, the following postings be required in such office:

1. Annual Disclosure Availability (we are FDIC regulated)
2. CRA Public Notice
3. CIP Notice
4. Banking Hours on door

When it was just Operations, you are right, we did not have anyone other than vendors coming in. Now that the Mortgage and Consumer staff is here, we will have loan applicants coming in to meet with the Loan Officers, loan closings, loan customers making payments.

I really don't think you can't do that unless the location is a chartered branch........ If it is a chartered branch, then all standard posters will be required.
