So if the holiday is federally observed on the following Monday, that doesn't make it an exempt day for LE and Clod timing? Interesting. I did not know that. Thanks Randy!

The timing for the LE and CD are different. For the LE, it has to be both not a business day under the regulation and the bank has to be open for business. For example, if you are not open on Saturdays, Saturday is not a business day for LE timing purposes (three business day delivery and ten business day until estimate expires). For CD timing, you use the precise rules that were quoted earlier in this thread.
