I've heard through the grapevine that Wells Fargo (Retail) has suspended doing HARP loans for some reason related to TRID. Does anyone have any further details that you'd be willing to share? Our bank does sell loans to Wells through their Correspondent Division, and they've not put anything out. I'm more worried about the "why" behind their decision - is there some reason that HARP loans can't be disclosed properly under TRID?

The surest way to address "grapevine" rumors is to go to the source. Check with your contacts at Wells and get the straight information. And please revisit this thread to let us all know what you find out.

Found out that Wells Fargo's Retail Division had two LOSs - the one that they used for HARP loans wasn't TRID compliant in time, so they suspended the program.

Aha! Even the mighty Wells had problems getting its LOS updates done!
