Went from $1.92 Monday to $2.09. I have no idea why.

Saw a headline in the past day or two that indicated "cheap gas" was over. Didn't open the article to read it as it's always the same manipulated mumbo-jumbo given us one the "why."

We're coming into the holiday season so it goes up.

gas jumped from 1.95 to 2.29 overnight. why it has to jump .34 overnight is beyond me...

likely because you need to fill up your car today...

the sad part is I do. As soon as I fill up it'll probably drop .50 knowing my luck

I paid $1.78 this morning in Illinois. I'm sure it will go up a bunch next week for Thanksgiving travelers.

Today was the 1st Day I saw gas in my town hit 1.99 Time to fill up!

$41 a barrel is having an adverse impact down here in the oil patch.

Have $1 off per gallon for Krogers. Limited to 32 gallons, so loading the cans into the truck and heading to go Krogering. Gas is 1.96, so will be filling up for .96 per gallon. Reminds me of the days when I was mowing yards as a kid.

Hit $1.99 today. But no fear! Thanksgiving is next week. I can rest assured that gas will be $2.49 or higher on Monday.

I say a cheapy convenience store this morning at $1.65. They must be watering it down.

$1.69 is SW Oklahoma. At this point I'm starting to wonder if it will ever go back up. Surely the Saudis are feeling the financial pinch!

It was $1.99 at Costco in the Western Burgs of Chicago over the weekend. Can't say the last time I've seen that price.

prices in south Louisiana fell 5 cents yesterday...on the radio this morning they said gas this time last year was $2.63 per gallon, now it is $1.80...no expected hike this week for holiday travel.

Gas down to $1.86

Hard to believe with all of the unrest in the middle east that oil prices are still down.

What a topsy turvy world we're living in these days.

MB - from what I understand, there is a huge glut of oil at this point....every storage tank world wide is filled to the brim, the US Strategic Petroleum Reserves are at 100% capacity...when prices were so inflated a 1-3 years ago, they ramped up production to take advantage of the higher prices (remember exxon making $40 billion?)...as a result, we now are enjoying lower prices.

Even diesel and premium are now below $2.00

Interesting Happy, didn't realize that. I have family involved in fracking in PA; not sure how they are being affected.

Man, I thought hitting $1.99 was exciting, until I saw some of what y'all down south are paying!
