We used to love Carson.
"The Andy Griffith Show" is a great, and iconic show. There was a bit of weirdness about it though. Have you ever noticed that none of the characters are married? Only Floyd, the barber as far as I can remember.

Ok Ed.
Otis and Floyd.
Any other supporting characters? It's been a long time since I've watched "The Andy Griffith Show."

Never noticed that before Noel. There were so many great old TV shows. I still watch the Andy Griffith Show whenever I pass by it on the TV. And I loved the Carol Burnet Show. Never really got into the Bob Newhart show. Mork and Mindy, Happy Days was good TV too.

My Three Sons was a favorite of mine.
TRIVIA:
M.A.S.H. - did you know that Gary (Radar) has a crippled left hand and you hardly ever saw that hand? He always hid that hand - behind the clip board, in a pocket, in a fold in his coat...... Every once in a while you will catch a glimpse of it.

Mrs. noelekal used to like "Lavern and Shirley," a show which made me want to bang my head repeatedly against a wall.
We both really got into the British comedies when they began to be featured on public television, feeling that the best of them offered more talented writing and acting than the usual run of American comedies.

I couldn't wait for the Wonderful World of Disney or Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. I remember those Saturday evenings too. Came on right after The Lawrence Welk Show and Hee Haw. (Depending on which Grand Parents house I was at )
