Anyway, I am an audit staff member for a bank in the NE. Asset size is $262. B.S. degree, 5+ years experience. My salary is a poor $28,000 with 3 weeks vacation.

Hope this helps.

29 years old.

Just renegotiated my salary up to $40K, last week I got a letter that I would now not be eligible for an increase until 2006.

Still want to move to Alaska? I know a position that might be coming open. Hey Northrim...are you hiring?

Not cheap to live in Alaska! The Stage Coach was paying $62k before I left there in 2000. I hope to add another staff auditor the end of next year. Watch the paper How are things at your place of business Dawn?

LOL Joker so true!

It's lovely here Brian. I'm dang glad I don't work for the Fairbanks bank that posted (At least I think it was Fairbanks) I can't imagine living on that salary in Fairbanks. And besides, Auditors should be paid a premium because everyone in the bank thinks they're out to get them. You should get extra bucks just because folks won't sit next to you at the company picnic

After reading this stuff I started thinking how lucky I was I only have this one tiny little regulation to live with, some staff and a good (or compared to many posted, pretty great) salary (and yet I of course deserve more ). I love my job and no one runs when I enter a room! What could be better
