Pulling people out of the ditc...
18 years ago today, the epic movie Titanic was released, 11 Oscars went to it, one of only 3 films to win 11 Oscars (Ben Hur and LOTR Return of the King)...and for 18 years I've managed to avoid watching it...hoping for another 18 years of not seeing it

Phife Dawg of the group A Tribe Called Quest also died today at the age of 45 from complications of diabetes...in line with the titanic, I can also say I've never listened to anything by this group...here's to continuing that...

Smart not to watch that movie, Happy. I wasted three hours of my life watching the thing. Movie took longer to sink than the ship did. frown

Way, way south.
This is probably one of the most interesting things about the Titanic saga (the reality, not the movie):

NP DD. Bizarre that a book was written so close to the real story so many years before it became reality, including the ship names, etc. Too weird.
