I got an email today about day long User Meetings by LaserPro. Does anybody have any idea if these User Meetings will be of any use? They claim they will have info about the consumer protection changes. I've been to a basic a user meeting webinar and it wasn't very helpful.

See if you can get an agenda or topic list from those presenting the session. That might give you an idea of whether the trip will be worth it. At very least, you may network with other users of the service/product and pick up some contacts you can reach out to with questions later.

I attended one in Albuquerque a few years ago and it was worth the trip (albeit just a two hour drive from here in Las Vegas, NM). The agenda for them doesn't go into a lot of detail, but they did cover the "what's new" and gave some pretty good in-depth explanations/screens of how to actually use the features.

As John indicated, it's also worth attending just to help build a network of folks in your area with whom you can share common issues and see how they're doing it.

They almost always have one of their internal counsel their as a representative, and depending on state issues, maybe a network counsel as well.

I think they are very worthwhile.

I'm going to revive this one. I've been trying to find info on whether or not there will be a 2016 User Meeting, and have had no luck.

Any scoop on this?
