Currently for our cash management product, when business customers perform an ACH transmittal they fax a sheet to our Electronic Banking Department that gives them a breakdown (number of transactions, total dollar amount) of what they loaded into the Cash Management software.

What is your bank's process with this type of product. Do you require any notification from the client that they loaded an ACH file?

Our ACH product allows us to set up dual control requirements for our customers. Which means we have already made sure they have authorized it. However, there is always the risk of account takeover, so we review summary information at least for every file we receive. If the file is unusual (in size, number of transactions, timing, etc), we call back or require them to contact us out of band.

We require our Cash Management customers fax us a transmittal form as well. The form includes number of transactions, total $ amount plus two signatures of authorized persons.

We require a Transmittal form as well. Do you all make a call back to the customer to let them know you received their file?
