I have had 2 white cars. My observations is that it always looks clean, until you wash it and then you realize, "WOW it was dirty"
Have had 2 dark color cars (One Black, one Dark Green). Now they always look dirty.

A lot of the colors are due to location. Darker colors in the northern states, lighter colors in the southern states. Green is not a usually demanded color, except in the Boston area.
When I moved south I had a black car. That one day in July, I realized why they were few black cars in Miami. I got into the car and sat on leather seats while wearing shorts. 1st degree burns...........

Looks like Black wins, as I expected, but not by the same ratio at my bank.
Then White, Silver and from the comments it looks like Red beats out Blue.

Mine is blue....the dealer only had one red and one blue on the lot, the red one that I wanted had this really ugly tan interior so I bought the blue with black interior.

Traded in my slate grey Nissan Altima for a beautiful chocolate brown one with awesome tan leather interior and a superb Bose sound system for my classical music.

My husband calls his 2002 Expedition 'Mother'. He said when he first got it the vehicle was always telling him what to do.

I had a 1987 Isuzu pickup (yes, a "P'up") that I called the Pupster. My current secondary vehicle is a Toyota Tundra Darrell Waltrip edition. I call that one my "daggum pick'em up truck" as an acknowledgement of its NASCAR roots. Those are the only vehicles I ever really had names for.

will never own a white car again I'll bite.....What's wrong with white? every nick, ding, scratch, speck of dust or dirt, bug, etc. shows in glaring detail...also, even when clean and freshly waxed, still was just white...didn't really look as good when washed and waxed as a car with color does...

Car colors are silver, red, and blue.
We have names for all of our vehicles:
Pilot = Pippy Elantra = Eloise (usually just Weezie) Saturn = Sadie
