I get putting a mat outside the shower and another by the sink but do you use the one by the toilet too?

I don't completely get the need for that one.

Give it 10 more years, you'll understand... it'll save a ton of time mopping. #oldmendrip

so it's a pee catcher

I was wondering why you would need a non slick surface there like by the shower and by the sink since you could be standing/walking by those two spots barefoot and wet

Regardless, it is kind of a disgusting mat being by the toilet and all. I make the other half mop that bathroom floor every few days.

It must suck to get old.

I'm looking at new stuff. I've always bought the matching toilet mat with the other mats to complete the bathroom.

But now I started wondering why, what use is the toilet mat?

And, do you really need any kind of mat in a half bath? There is no shower to walk out of in the half bath so you shouldn't have to worry about walking wet across slippery floors.

So is it the job of Compliance to wash the bank bathroom mats? We are talking about your customer bathrooms, right?

What is the purpose of the toilet lid cover? I can understand how the mat that goes around the bottom of the toilet is useful but I've never understood why the lid needed to have a cover.

...same reason as keeping feet warm with the mat in front of the toilet. The seat cover keeps your bare bottom warm....plus sitting on that hard cold surface, bare bottomed, might smart a little.

I'm going to search the internet for further thoughts on this topic....................an internet that is hopefully more helpful than that which I've witnessed in this thread.

CAN'T YOU PEOPLE BE SERIOUS!!??

Pulling people out of the ditc...
Peepers - it is obvious the half-mat by the toilet is so that when you are eating your quadstackers while using the bathroom, any that falls is cushioned by the carpet, and therefore reducing the bruising to the delicate meat and veggies that adorn the quadstacker...this allows you to pick it up well within the 5-second rule and eat it, without worrying about damage to the fragility of said quads...

i'm sorry that the other responders in the thread don't take this stuff seriously.

and while you are doing internet research, you may also choose to investigate clear carper-runner covers for high trafficked areas of carpeting. and clear sofa covers as well. both to be removed when company comes over (except JJ and his other half, it appears they have leakage issues, so you may prefer to keep on if they visit).

They put veggies on the quadstacker?

I like the soft memory foam bathmats....in front of shower, in front of tub, in front of potty......easy on the feet for the time it takes me to dry off from bathing, standing primping in front of the sink, and hours on the toilet playing games on my tablet. My feet are nearly as old as Pale's.

I always presumed that the toilet-mat was either (a) to keep ones feet warm or (b) to add a touch of color to the bathroom.

Same goes for the mat at the sink in most cases.
