Both TN & SC escaped last night with victories against App St & Vandy, respectively; but the first games of the Yahoo Pick'em Challenge begin tonight.

I was going with Notre Dame, LSU, Oklahoma, and Miss. State as the 4 to be in the playoffs...guess I'm glad I didn't bother registering...

I thoroughly enjoyed that Alabama game, as we got a chance to see 3 QBs play. I seriously thought the Ole Miss game was going to look the same in the scorebox, but apparently something happened at half time that fired that FSU team up.

but apparently something happened at half time that fired that FSU team up the alumni talked about eliminating their bonus money and restructuring their contracts, changing the Hummers to Chevy S-10s, the Corvettes to Altimas, and reinstating all the legal issues that they've been able to sweep under the rug...don't know about you, but that would have fired me up...

Nope. So far the 8-man officiating crew has been banned for 2 games and all are ineligible for bowl games this year. All the arguments that OSU should have never been that close to losing, and the pass call was bad are irrelevant because the officiating crew either intentionally broke the rules (doubtful) or were negligent and didn't know the rules. Either way bad calls happen all the time but rarely does it so obviously change the outcome of the game. It was really sad. As always though Gundy owned up to his mistakes and the team will come back better next week. It's not always easy being an OSU fan but it's always worth it! And yeah I realize I didn't make it 2 hours without talking about it.

Okay, okay...all my predictions were an epic fail; however, we'll see if the one exception (the one that matters) prevails in the playoffs and the championship game. In the mean time, try the Yahoo Bowl Pick'em Challenge.
