Politicians are always under the microscope when they eat. Who was it that was skewered by Jon Stewart for eating NY pizza with a knife and fork? And John Kerry still gets heat for asking for Swiss on his Philly cheesesteak. How are you expected to know how to consume the favorite food of all 50 states?

if the pizza is hot, I always use a knife/fork on the first slice, otherwise the roof of my mouth gets burned...pieces 2-however many I eat I don't use them.

I have used a fork on really hot fried chicken so not to burn my fingers, and have salted as well. of course, he could have had the salt and pepper for the mashed potatoes.
