Does anyone know if Ohio requires holiday signs to be posted a certain number of days/weeks in advance of a bank being closed? I thought at one time it was 30 days but can't find anything now that says if this is still the case or if it has changed. Of course, if it has changed, that may explain why I can' find anything! smile

Somewhere in the middle
I assume from the topic sign you are referencing closing for a Holiday.

We always post a week in advance.

In case anyone is still wondering, Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 5.41 states that signs should be displayed no less than 15 days prior to the holiday & no more than 30 days prior to the holiday.

I think that only applies if you close on a weekday - as in - not a holiday.
