Good morning! I couldn't find a thread that addressed this topic. The client is living in a storage building and calls it his primary residence. What is property type and is it even considered a dwelling under HMDA? Does there need to be a kitchen and bathroom?

The image below is similar to the subject, but our subject is even bigger. Hopefully this image shows below.

Does it meet the definition of "residential structure"? If so, and it sounds like it does, it would be reported.

Thanks for that thread! Very helpful. Looks like the consensus is to report. If it was built in a factory and transported to the site, would I classify as a manufactured home?

(By the way, were you able to see the image that I linked?)

It shows as a link, but yes I was able to click and view it.

Whether it's manufactured or not depends on whether it falls under under HUD's manufactured home construction and safety standards (24 C.F.R. 3280.2).
