Just had one of those awkward high-five, hand-shake scenarios play out.
Guy was going for a high-five, and I was going for the hand-shake. There was that moment of confusion where the hands didn't know what to do.
It's 2016 folks, the high-five is dead. Fist-bumps are acceptable.

There are a lot of high-fives in my house, every day. Of course, we have a two year old boy who thinks that "up high, down low, too slow!" is the greatest game ever, so.....

High 5's are still definitely appropriate for sporting events.
Maybe for locker room talk, as well. Though locker room talk is NOT appropriate. So maybe high 5's should not be appropriate anymore.
