We rely on the credit report to determine military status/compliance with MLA. The bureau then uses the military data base to determine MLA based on SSN. If a loan applicant has an ITIN, the credit report comes back as "no score - no history" because Experian doesn't recognize ITIN anymore, even if there is credit reported under the ITIN. Is anyone else having the same issue? Or are we the only ones that make loans to people with an ITIN.

We also open accounts using an ITIN. IF we stop accepting ITINs an acceptable identifying number for loans, wouldn't it be best to do likewise for deposit accounts.
