Depends on my mood
I'm interested in what your employee dress code is on Saturdays if your branch is open. Do you allow casual with jeans/khakis or professional dress as is customary through the week. Do you have bank logoed shirts that your employees are permitted to wear through the week as well or do you only allow them on a casual day?

Our Saturday dress code is: professional dress as is customary through the week.
Bank logoed shirts are permitted on Fridays.

Saturdays are either customary work week attire or khakis and a bank logo top

Saturdays are reg workweek attire or jeans and a bank shirt. Fridays are jeans and a bank shirt and you pay a donation fund
of $1 to wear jeans or reg attire if you prefer. (Saturdays used to be nice business casual...however a there is always a difference of opinion of what "business casual" is so now we are Bank shirts and jeans. Nice job tacky dressers......)

Saturday is business casual in our branches, but rarely jeans unless we are doing some type of community involvement that day (ie, pay a $1 to wear jeans and raise funds for something)

Monday - Thursday is professional (though our tellers don't seem to know what that means and always go business casual or less, instead). Friday is bank logoed shirt and jeans. Saturday is business casual.

We are casual on Saturdays, normally a bank t-shirt. Only our drive thrus are open so you can't see them from the waist down.

I know a bank that had to revise their dress code to include "you must wear clothes" because one of their employees was regularly taking his shirt and shoes off in the office. At least he kept his pants on. SMH

I am looking for some input on your dress code. Do you wear uniforms and if so do you order from a certain company? If you are business attire what does that require you to wear and if you are casual wear what does that require you to wear?

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

No uniforms. We are business casual. Employee manual states male employees wear dress shirt and dress slacks with ties being optional. Female employees may wear slacks or dresses/skirts. We do allow capri pants but they need to look professional. Leggings are allowed with an appropriate length top. On Fridays we can wear jeans but no sweatshirts, hoodies or t-shirts and no tennis shoes or flip flops.

If my Bank told me I had to switch to a uniform I'd be looking for a new employer. We are business casual year round. Usually see men in shirts and business pants or khakis, sometimes sweaters in the winter months. Ladies typically wear slacks and a blouse or sweater. Casual shoes but not sneakers. We're all professional enough to know that if we have an important meeting or are meeting with a particular type of customer we dress up. Enforcement of the guidelines has not been something we have had to address luckily.

I cannot imagine requiring "uniforms" in this era. The most I could see is saying bank polo or logo attire and black / navy / khaki bottoms. Most community banks are business casual these days.

I remember ages ago banks that had uniforms. That generally meant the women wore uniforms, while the men wore suits. It's not hard to see why that practice went away. We wear business attire Monday to Friday and business casual on weekends. Business attire for men is shirt and tie. I'm old school and always put my suitcoat on for meetings with management or board or with customers. Many of the young guys are shirt and tie only. Women's business attire is complicated and makes me glad I'm not in HR.

some banks in my neck of the woods wear a uniform...but what that means is that the bank provides a variety of shirts, blouses, sweaters that have the bank logo, employees can wear whichever they choose, normally with khakis or a nice pair of slacks or skirt. professional attire of a coat and tie is always acceptable.

today I'm wearing jeans and a 1/4 zip Henley...but I am not customer facing and work in a building customers do not venture to.
