Taking a poll: What's the "average" number of hours salaried/exempt employees are "expected" to work at your bank per week?

8 to 4, 8:30 to 4:30, 9 to 5 and anything more than that. Lunch should be an hour here, of course, eating at your desk while reading the regs, to me does not constitute a lunch.
Our CEO is here from before 7 until after 6 most days...

8:00am to 5:00pm minimum
7:30am to 5:00pm when I have early meetings (often!)
30 minutes for lunch M-Th
1 hr for lunch Fri
Sometimes take work home with me rather than staying late.
However, employer is family friendly and very flexible so I can pretty much come and go if I need to be somewhere else, as long as the work gets done.

Either 8:45-5:00 or 8:15-4:30 (rotating during the week, so everyone gets a chance to go home "early") with 45 minutes for lunch. It ends up being 37.5 hours weekly.

Our salaried non-exempt employees are required to work 36.25 hours to be paid for 40. Exempt employees don't have requirements. Some come in at 8:00 & leave at 4:00. Some come in at 7:00 & leave at 4:00. Some come in at 8:00 &leave at 5:00. We all get 45 min. for lunch. (On Friday a few leave at 4:00 & the rest are here until 5:30)

Big bosses come in before 7 and leave around 6. Those that want to excel and have work to do mirror the same schedule. We have flex time, so some start their day as late as 9 and stay until 6 or later (with or without lunch). Lunch is not included in our 8 hour days. On average, throughout the year I work about 45 hours per week. Busier periods are in the 50s. We are expected to work as long as it takes to get the work done (if you want to get promoted). Granted, in the slow times sometimes, it is ok to have a "short" week.

We have salaried exempt employees and salaried non exempt employees. Salaried exempt 40 hrs is what they get paid for but beleive me they DONOT work 40 hrs. Salaried non exempt which are our full time tellers work 37.5 hrs per week.

Salaried exempt all work 40 plus hours - generally come in between 7:30-8:00; leave anywhere between 5 and 6. Lunch is allocated at an hour but most do not take the hour - just take the time they need to eat or run errands. We don't micromanage our management people -- if you need to run out to the post office, get coffee, pick up a child, go ahead and do it as long as your work gets done.

Our salaried exempts come in between 7-8, no lunch or quick lunch, leave at 5, 6 or 7. It gets later towards month end. The motto is stay until the work is done, short days or flex time is a rare exception.

Policy: expected to work 8 to 5 with 1 hour for lunch for a total of 40 hours per week.
Reality: the ones that want to advance work a mimimum of 50 hours. Bottom line - exempts are expected to get the job done regardless of the hours it takes if you are interested in advancing.
