Does anyone else out there treat their e-Oscar credit disputes as a "notice of error" under the RESPA error resolution procedures (if it pertains to a mortgage loan)? Or do you only apply the RESPA procedures when you receive a written request from the customer. I'm trying to determine if we are being too broad with the application of the RESPA error resolution.

The Notice of Error reg is only applicable when the assertion of error is sent to the specific address that you have published.
