Customer disputes a credit card payment made in another persons name. Customer will not sign the WSUD, so we can't return the ACH under NACHA rules. Our investigation shows several other merchant credit card payments made in the name of the same person on the disputed payment. They aren't disputing those. Can we deny under Reg E based on the fact they have given their account information to access their account and they have not rescinded that authority?

Or will NACHA let us return based on the oral notification and we can forget about getting the signature.

There's got to be a way to marry the reg and the NACHA rules...
