We have an employee who performed Mortgage Loan originator functions at another FI (where she was originally registered) and currently works for us in a position having NO Mortgage Loan originator functions since Feb. 2012. Her NMLS shows her Status is Active and she is Authorized to Conduct Business and is Currently Authorized to Represent our Bank.
She wants to keep her Active Status.
But can the bank remove her Authorization to Conduct Business on the Bank's behalf?
I know this is probably out of left field, but the Bank pays her annual renewal fee, but since she will never "Act as an MLO" under the stated definition of MLO, can we "de-authorize" her to represent our bank, while she maintains an Active status?
