Different question but still "Is it HMDA reportable". If a borrower inquires if they can qualify for a home loan and we do not have 5 pieces of information for HMDA but after pulling their credit report it was decided we had to issue a denial is this HMDA reportable?

Totally different question  Did they have a property identified or was it a pre-qual?

A non-traditional structure, the barndominium is a steel frame and sheet metal building, originally designed as a storage building or barn structure that has been repurposed by the addition of living areas to previously open space. Not true in my corner of the world, Texas. These are now, often designed AND built from the outset as a barn with living space,... sometimes, very nice living space.

In 95% of the inquiries there is no property selected at that time. Just shopping around.

Barndominiums (sp?) are big business in Texas and especially the Hill Country area. They are very much built as a residence, not an after thought.
My wife wants to live in one now.
