I am also a fast eater and did Keto for about 6 months and had different stressors in my life, but also had the hair loss. I am now on weight watchers and I love it. Almost all of my hair has grown back and I can eat from all food groups on Weight Watchers. I advocate to do what work and feels good for each person because we are all different. I lost 50 pounds years ago by just counting my calories and eating what I wanted. I do exercise at least 4-5 times a week and that helps me mentally.

I had been stuck at the same weight for about the last 5 years.....knew that i wanted to lose 25-30 lbs., but just never made any of the changes necessary to do it. I finally started about 3 weeks ago (thanks for the advice Peepers)....just cutting way down on starches and sugar (down, not out....but i was eating 2 servings of potatoes every day, and something sugary after most meals, so it did need cutting). I try to be reasonable on things.....on the bread and potatoes front, i still eat them, but i try never to eat both at the same meal. I opt for sugar free jello or a fruit cup to handle my sweet tooth after a meal. I drink a Coke with my Saturday morning breakfast cuz i really crave that......i'll cheat some on Saturdays.

Have lost just over 10 lbs in 3 weeks. .....another 20 to go.

The mince meat pies i've had (as a kid, my grandma made them, and as an adult, i've eaten the frozen ones) have very little actual meat in them....they're basically just an apple/raisin pie.

BTW--(shameless self-promotion coming), i'm up to 13 lbs. lost this morning and just about to get sub-220 for the first time in probably 15 years.
