I've also seen chocolate (milk and white) drizzled popcorn in GA made by Otis Spunkmeyer. It was yummy!

Our local Boy Scout troop sell popcorn for fundraising every year, and they have a really great chocolate covered popcorn. (very reasonable too.)

I love grilled cheese w/ ketchup. I also like sausage and pepper sandwiches with ketchup. Pretzels and Breyer's Peach Yogurt.
And....bacon and sausage in maple syrup, as another poster said.

My husband's uncle likes vanilla ice cream on top of his pizza.
We have a woman in our bookkeeping department that cuts the center (middle) out of large dill pickles and inserts a peppermint stick and eats it.
I like turnip greens - my kids thinks its extremely gross and I use it as a form of punishment! ha
My husband likes to put parmesian cheese on hot popcorn - it smells like stinky feet to me and then he eats it! ugh

My dad puts a slice of Velveeta on his apple pie. Or American Cheese, if there's no Velveeta.

The first 3 sounded gross but chicken bog spiced up is excellent.

I probably shouldn't ask, but what is "bog" as it relates to chicken or ducks?

The main ingredients are chicken, rice, and sausage. I have no idea why it's called bog.

Have you ever had your truck bogged down in mud. It must look the same or something. Sure does taste good...I think I will cook one up for supper tonight!

Why don't one of you post a recipe for me (or PM me)? It sounds interesting.

The original 'bog' is Chicken Bog, and its origins are in early South Carolina.

Rice was originally planted in the Carolinas in late 17th century (from East African [probably Madagascar] rice brought over by a sea captain), and 'Carolina long-grain rice' became the most popular in the U.S. South Carolina was the major U.S. rice grower until the Civil War. The 'low country' where rice was grown in the Carolinas were bogs (rice grows best when half submerged in water). So they were familiar with the term 'bog'.

Chicken Bog got its name because the chicken is 'bogged' down in the rice, or because the whole thing was a 'boggy, soggy mess.

Recipe.

As a little girl (a very long time ago ), I used to watch my mother scoop the seeds out of half of a cantaloupe and drop in a scoop of vanilla ice cream. If we were out of ice cream, she put salt and pepper all over it. Both ways made me never want to eat cantaloupe until about 10 years ago. I eat it plain, not with all the other stuff on it.

Also as a little girl, I used to like pineapple sandwiches--bread, mayo and well drained pineapple slices. I also grew up eating peanut butter and mayo sandwiches, not pb&j.

Not quite crazy, but the pickle and peppermint thing might date back to the lemon with peppermint "straws". Take a whole lemon and make it really juices by hitting it with a hammer or something. Cut it in half and then put a porous peppermint stick in the middle and suck the juice out. Sweet and sour and wonderful. You can get those porous peppermints sticks (their usually short and fat) at candy stores. Vermont country store has them online, too.

I live near a sushi place I eat at often and they give me the remainder tentacle of their octopus to chew on if I arrive shortly before they close. It tastes soooo good. Sometimes I smear a little wasabi on it and pop the whole thing in my mouth.

Grin, if you smear wasabi on it you don't taste anything else!

Someone mentioned cottage cheese, I love putting it on baked potatoes with just a little butter.
