Just have to brag a little... My oldest son (12, rising 8th grader) was invited to march with the high school band percussion section next fall. Yes, I am a proud band momma.

He has a late b-day so he'll be 13 about a month into school. But yes, he's super smart and talented too!

My daughter received a $1,000 college scholarship last week. If she could get about 40 more of those that would be great.

Congrats to Dani and TJ, those are both great! Mine can now both ride 2-wheelers. This is a big deal in our house.

i've yet to meet anyone who said their kid was anything but super smart and talented...
says the day of 2 geniuses! You are right of course. But then I remember having to help one of my genius's get her big toe unstuck from the faucet and having to comfort the other genius after she tried to fly off of the swing set with her cape and boots on.......

My kid rolled over yesterday and her projectile vomit can go at least 12 inches....

The Junebug threw up in my husband's face one time. She was maybe 4 weeks old? I *still* laugh my head off about that one.

I look foward to breaking every world record regarding vomit when our first child is born. You may need to revisit Linda Blair's iconic scene from The Exorsist. Its a lot to live up to.

My little boy smiles everytime he sees me and never talks back. He's only 11 months old, but I'm sure this will continue when he's a teenager, right?
