We require 2 secondary ID documents for elderly and disabled individuals who don't have a government issued ID. We would like to know what other banks require for CIP documentation for these individuals? Often, they don't have an unexpired picture ID as they are not able to obtain a driver's license and don't have a state issued identification card. In some circumstances, they may be in a nursing home and which further limits their ability to obtain a picture ID.

We are similar except we only require one secondary document. These are the acceptable items: insurance card, store card with photo, voter registration card, utility or property tax bill, social security card, employer ID card, Medicare/Medicaid card or birth certificate.

We also require at least 2 non-documentary items, such as Medicare/Medicaid card, SS card, utility/property bill, SS statement, voter card. Those in a nursing home, we have accepted one form of the non-documentary methods to be a nursing home billing statement, or a letter from the nursing home stating the residency.
