I love scanning through this thread looking for ideas for my next read. Taking Happy's Harlan Coben recommendation. I've never read any of his stuff.

I've already downloaded it. I'll probably start it tomorrow when I finish this Laura Lippman novel.

I like the book - It provided me with insight as to what being an introvert means, and how, as an introverted child, you're constantly encouraged to be more extroverted. I would definitely recommend it.

I'm suffering through The House By the Lake by Ella Carey (it was free) and just hoping it gets better. If it does not pick up in the next 2 chapters, it's being deleted.

I hear ya....sometimes free is not the best bargain. I hate to give up on a book, but once in awhile I get hold of one that just makes me say. "nope."

I am currently reading 32 Going on Spinster, and I swear the main character is my daughter. :-O

I just finished "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" and am getting ready to start "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."

I didn't like Cursed Child as much as the rest of the series - but partially because it was so hard to read a script instead of a book!

I just finished "The Girl Before" and before that "The Life We Bury". I highly recommend both. Also reading "Brit Marie Was Here." Love Frederik Backman

Finished the first Myron Bolitar book. I really enjoyed it. I'll make my way through that series for sure.

I'm reading The Murderer's Daughter by Jonathan Kellerman right now. About 1/3 through it and I'm really liking it. An interesting story of a woman's horrible childhood colliding with her successful adult life.

That was painful. (Not to offend anyone that liked the book)
Free is not always a good choice but I felt like I had to finish it once I started to see if it would improve. I think it could have been cut in half to move quicker and been a good story but it droned on and on.

The Lady of the Lake has finally been released in an English translation and I am about half way through it. It is the final book in The Witcher Series by Andrzej Sapkowski.

out of the frying pan...
I've gotten sucked into the Cilmeri series by Sarah Woodbury. They aren't as immersive and engaging as Outlander, but are based on a similar time-traveling plotline and are not badly written or edited.

I agree with you two. I to finished it but it wasn't by far a favorite!

The Fix - David Baldacci. It's the third in the Amos Decker series.

Revival by Stephen King.

I don't know yet where this book is going, but Mr. King never disappoints.

Re-reading the Razorlands trilogy because there's a 4th book coming out this summer! I thought it was ended well so I'm curious where this next one will go.
