ABA sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin today about the industry impacts of the new rule. Any immediate observations?

I still find it hard to believe that the Bureau hasn't done more to quell fears about the consumer privacy concern. If I hadn't just bought a home, I would be rushing to the bank to refinance before the end of 2017.

I am in total agreement with this whitepaper, but could they really make these changes at this point?? Seems too good to be true.
