We are new to lending in the state of Maryland. I was wondering if anyone could let me know how they are handling/documenting the requirement in COMAR 09,03.06.20(A)(2) for higher priced mortgage loans (The duty to provide to a borrower who is offered a higher-priced mortgage loan information about the non-higher-priced mortgage loans that the licensee can make available and for which the borrower may qualify).
I do not see a specific state mandated disclosure showing the required information, and am wondering how best to document this information was given to our borrowers.
