If suspicious activity stopped since the last SAR, but other things happened...such as, the accounts involved were closed and investigative subpoenas were received on the customer...should we file a SAR just to mention those two updates? I didn't know if it was a good practice to do a final "wrap up" SAR or if just documenting the SAR file was good enough. Any opinions are appreciated!

Here is your answer. There is no such thing as a "wrap up SAR." No suspicious activity = No SAR.

I would not file since the activity stopped.

That's what I was hoping to hear. Much less work that way. Thanks.

At most, a memo to file explaining why no SAR was filed...
