Phase I or Phase II. Is Dolgencorp considered a listed business if it's a subsidiary of Dollar General?

We have one of those too. And we have them as a listed sub. That means I was able to document that. Probably on the annual report of Dollar General.

You may want to check the stock listings because I know they recently (past few years) went from publically held to privately held, or vice versa... I can't remember which way.

Look at their K-10. Exhibit 21. This is always where you get subsidiary information on a company.
