Thanksgiving is the best - food, naps and football. But I love Christmas music and decorations too. Christmas shopping...not so much.

I saw Christmas displays up already at a local home improvement retailer. It took everything I had not to scream. I love Christmas but this is too early. At least let Halloween happen before we get to Christmas.

My husband works for Costco. He sent me the picture of the displays going up last week. I love Christmas, but since living in the South, it doesn't feel them same. The last 2 years have reached 80 degrees on Christmas day. It's going to take a bit getting used to it. But I do love watching a game on Sunday afternoon when the field is covered in snow while I lounge with the breeze coming through the windows!!

Bah humbug...Always love Halloween, appreciate the time off at Thanksgiving, but Christmas is just a hassle to me. Why can't it just be Christmas...and not the buying pressure it has become.

Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas; this is the proper order to decorate and celebrate the holidays  . I started my Christmas 2017 shopping in January 2017, try to pick gifts up as ideas pop into my head.

I don't like Halloween so I generally ignore it. Will use fall décor at home, put out the Pilgrims in Nov. Love Thanksgiving! (you left out football, DQ) Love Christmas!

I boycotted presents last year at Christmas and I thought everyone's head was going to explode! I'd been trying to do away with gift exchanges for years, but since no one else felt the same I finally put my foot down and removed my name from the mix. It was so much more enjoyable that way. I love getting together with everyone and eating good food and playing games. Why do we have to ruin it with gifts?
