We have an audit coming up and the request list is asking about these items separately. What is the real difference between the two?

My understanding is that now they are one in the same as of 10.3.16. I would question your auditor.

The Talent Amendment was part of the John Warner National Defense Act of 2007, creating what we now know as the Military Lending Act. The Talent Amendment was focused on the payday loans, vehicle title loans, and tax refunds.

Credit Card restrictions portion of MLA goes into effect October 3, 2017. SCRA questions might come up as well.
