We are getting ready to have a contest (open to everyone - no consideration required); however I am uncomfortable not stating that 'you must be 18 or older to enter' or not informing contestants that there will be a 1099 completed on the prize (it's sizeable). Since I've only been in TN for a few months I'm not totally familiar with laws - and I'll be out in training this afternoon and don't have time to do much research. Does anyone know if allowing minors to enter is an issue within TN.

Thank you for your thoughts!

Never mind. Our Marketing Department has decided to limit this to persons 18 or older and we received some other information about informing them of the tax requirements.

Thank you to all who read this post!
