I wanted to make everyone aware of a training opportunity for those who may be new to compliance or need a refresher on basic compliance. The Georgia Bankers Association holds an annual compliance school each May that rotates between beginner and advanced level. In May 2018, we will be offering the basic school. Our faculty is first rate - including Patti Blenden, Carl Pry, and David Dickinson in 2018. Attendance is not limited to Georgia bankers. We know some other state associations have schools and some do not. We would welcome bankers from any of our neighboring states or anywhere in the country if you are interested. This school is also a great prep for the CRCM exam. Now is the time to include some budget funds for this valuable educational opportunity.
