Our bank is making some technology enhancement at some of our branches. Rather than having a large window with several drive-up lanes to make deposits, etc., the bank is removing the large window (placing a wall or ATM in that spot) and putting a virtual teller screen at each drive up lane. The is no window to see into the branch from the drive-up lanes.

The bank used to have the FDIC signage on the large window. The question know is, where does the bank need to display the FDIC sign? At each virtual teller? For some reason the wall where the window was does not seem to be the right place since the customer does not have a reason to look any more.

Thank you for your input.

Our interactive teller machines serve as ATM's as well, so we created a sign that is attached to the right of the screen and card reader. We put some bulleted information about check cashing limits, no coin, no cashier's check sales, etc, then the cutoff times for the ITM (teller assisted) transactions and the ATM card access transactions as they are two different times. Then we have the FDIC sign and the Fee sign for the ATM. Some may say it is more than required, but it works as one sign attached to the machine.
