Yup. I was explaining that to our compliance officer last Friday. At least the preferred language text appears to be fairly innocuous.

Point of clarification: Are 'the Enterprises' referenced in the bulletin FNMA and Freddie?
(Obviously the gubmint doesn't believe in the KISS theory. mad )

Yes. Whenever FHFA uses the term "the Enterprises" (which it always treats as a proper noun), it means Fannie and Freddie.
