hello!

Question: if a rate adjustment notice falls on a federal holiday, does this affect anything? We noticed a few of our ARM loans fall on holidays and are trying to find whether mailing the next business day (due to mail service) will affect the adjustment in any way? How about mailing prior to the actual adjustment day.

Sorry, seems like a simplistic question, but for the life of me, I cannot find an answer in the reg!!

thanks

mad

What does the day of adjustment have to do with a notice requirement? What notice are you referring too?

Sending out 60 days prior to adjustment, but on our calendar, the 60 days falls on a holiday (in this case, christmas). In this case I am referring to the notice required by 1026.20c

Well, it is "at least 60 days" or it is not. 59 is not 60.
